Condo Developments in Boston
Over the course of the past several years there has been a considerable about of debate and concern amongst developers that phased condo developments were facing the prospect of distinction.
The problem facing phased Massachusetts and condo developments rested in the fact that in a growing number of instances a municipality would alter requirements associated with a particular condo project from one phase to the next. Indeed, some municipalities went so far as to shut down all together a phased condo development from one phase to the next and before the project was completed.
Massachusetts phased condo developments represent one of the most affordable and effective ways in which to complete a larger scale project. However, with the perceived interference and obstruction by municipal governments in the commonwealth, many developers started to back away from the whole concept of phased Massachusetts or Boston condo developments.
The Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court has now issued a decision that projects developers of condo developments from interim changes and interference by municipal governments. In other words, thanks to this decision of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court, developers who are interested in building can rest comfortably knowing that they will be able to complete their projects from one phase to the next.
